Preventing and Managing Diabetes
There are many fundamental steps you can take to prevent diabetes.
First, it's necessary to make sure you are getting adequate activity and have a weekly or daily exercise routine. While much of the basic knowledge of exercise is known, many do not recognize the fact that routine activity can help lower blood sugar levels and increase sensitivity to insulin- which will keep in at a normal rate.
Second, ensure that you are getting the proper nutrition. Monitoring your daily diet is key to preventing and managing diabetes. Supplying your diet with plenty of whole grains and fiber is a great first step to tweaking your diet. Both fiber and whole grains are great for keeping you full longer and they are healthy alternatives to sugary, starchy carbohydrates which are made up of mostly sugar.
The easiest and most overlooked step is to add supplements to your daily routine. Supplements such as Glutathione have been known to help in preventing and managing diabetes. Glutathione is widely know to help stimulate your body and adds a natural antioxidant. Glutathione supplements are also known to help your immune system, aid in fighting inflammation, increase energy, improve organ function and many other benefits that are known to help in preventing and managing diabetes.

Facts About Diabetes
What are the facts about Diabetes?
There are a few basic facts that you need to know about diabetes, regardless of whether you are pre-diabetic, diabetic, or non-diabetic.
Diabetes is a complex and serious disease, and today there is no known cure – only treatment. If you are diabetic or pre-diabetic, it is crucial to get proper exercise, eat a healthy diet consisting of whole grains, low fat protein, and vegetables. Healthy supplements can also benefit you in countless ways.
Diabetes appears in three basic types:
1) Type 1 Insulin-dependent
2) Type 2 non-insulin dependent
3) Gestational, which only occurs during pregnancy.
If left uncontrolled, diabetes can and does lead to long-term complications such as heart disease, stroke, blindness, amputations, kidney failure, and nerve disease. It is today the #3 cause of death in America according to the CDC, behind only heart disease and cancer. However, modern scientific research has shown that many long-term complications can minimize or be prevented entirely through healthy lifestyle changes that include modest weight loss, regular exercise, healthy supplements, and a healthy diet.
Type 2 diabetes which represents nearly 90% of all diabetes, largely results from obesity, poor diet/nutrition, and inadequate exercise over a long period of time. Sadly, more children today are being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes than at any time in history. In America and worldwide, diabetes is now considered the #1 health issue and a genuine health epidemic. A healthy lifestyle with a healthy diet and healthy supplements can help.
